8 Tips for a Feng Shui Bed

The main purpose of the bed is for the body to be rested and to be ready for the next day. During sleep. the repairs and maintenance for the body are being carried out. Therefore, it is essential that the bed is comfortable for a good night’s sleep.

The requirements for the bed.

  1. Shape

The bed is to have a regular shape – rectangular. Not circular, heart shaped or any other shape.

2. Bed Frame

Either Metal or wood. It should be solid and rigid. Makes sure that it does not creak or wobble.,

3. Mattress

It should be firm – either stuffed with natural material like cotton or sponge or metal springs. It should not be a liquid like water as it is not firm and wobbly.

For a couple, there should be one single mattress. A split or separate mattress is indicative of a weakening or separation of a relationship.

4. Height Above the Floor.

There should be a separation between the bed and the floor. This is to allow the energy in the room to circulate easily around the body. It might not appear to be important but, there is a very subtle difference when the energy can move easily freely around the room.

Therefore, drawers beneath the mattress is discouraged.

5. Pillows

They should be padding or foam. Either hard or soft depending how you feel about it.

6. Headboard

This is essential to complete the bed.

7. Bed clothes

For a couple, there should be one blanket or duvet. This is to signify unity in the relationship. Separate duvet is indicative of a weakening or the start of separation of the relationship.

It is best to have natural material as they are more comfortable in the long term. There good-looking material like shiny satin but they are not that comfortable in the longer term.

8. Colour

The ideal colour are white or pastel colours. You do not want to be too yang with bright colours like red or yellow or too yin like black or dark grey.

Conclusion: These are eight suggestions to help you have a better sleep.
