This section is series of Feng Shui Articles that I have written since the information of Feng Shui was introduced to the West in the 1990s.
Feng Shui is an interesting and fascinating subject. It harnesses the Earth’s natural flow of energy for the benefit of man. This knowledge is unique, and there is no equivalent in the West.
However, much of the true and practical methods are not commonly available in the West and even in the Far East or South East Asia, even though it has been practised for centuries by the few.
For Feng Shui, it was only in the 1990s that the information started to come out in dribs and drabs.
This series of blog posts will cover the basic grounding that has been available to the West. Initially, I will cover the whole field of Feng Shui, and as it develops, it will go deeper into the subject and then to the bigger picture.
Feng Shui is only a topic within the whole realm of Chinese Metaphysics. This is where the real action is – it is part of an integrated system called the Five Arts. They all have the exact principle mechanism and follow the basic rules – Yin/yang, five elements, Lo Shu, Bagua and Energy (Qi).

The five arts are the fundamental guide to living for the Chinese people throughout the ages. The content of each of the Five Arts is complex and very difficult to master. As such, practitioners focus on one or two of the five arts and many only on one of two of the disciplines within the arts.
The Traditional method the Chinese have passed down their true practice knowledge is from Master to a trusted student. The Master takes pride in developing a student to be better than himself.
