Feng Shui for Health – helping you with your sleep, work, studies, moods and more

Feng Shui for Health
Feng Shui for Health

In modern times, Feng Shui for Health has occupied a minor role in applying Feng Shui.

However, in my opinion, Health is the most crucial facet of life compared to Wealth or Relationships. If your Health is poor, you cannot enjoy wealth and Health. Good Health cannot be bought.

Feng Shui has existed for more than 4,000 years. It improves people's lives in Wealth, Relationships, and Health.

Feng Shui is about the energies in and around the built environment. The energies could be good (benevolent) or bad (malevolent). It could be outside or inside the property.

On this website, I have focused on bringing the energy from the exteriors into the property to benefit the occupants, primarily in wealth and relationships.

In this post, I describe a little-discussed aspect of this ancient Chinese Healing Art—Feng Shui for Health. It concerns malevolent energy affecting the person.

Observations

I have had these observations during my practice as a Feng Shui Consultant for more than 20 years.

This list includes some of the symptoms that I have observed in my visits to my clients' properties. I have also provided solutions that have benefited the clients.

  1. Sleep:

Initially, it is easy to go into a shallow sleep.

However, it is an interrupted or broken sleep, waking up at odd times and slowly drifting back to sleep.

When waking up, the person does not feel refreshed. There is a feeling that more sleep is necessary.

Mood and Health can change from the accumulation of the deprivation of fully rested sleep.

Occurrence:

This appears to be a common occurrence for many of my clients.

2. Behaviour:

Symptoms: Feeling tired, lethargic, short-tempered, argumentative, fault-finding, and irritable.

Work: It is difficult to concentrate, progress is slow, and ideas and thoughts are not coherent; they are all over the place. In other words, low productivity.

Case Study 1.

A client's son has the symptoms of social anxiety.

It started when he was attending the sixth-form college. He got behind in his schoolwork and began to withdraw. He was told off by the teachers and teased by his classmates. He withdrew to himself.

He wakes up late, is lethargic, and responds slowly to anything with withdrawn behaviour. He has been like this for about four years.

He is a recluse. He locks himself in his room and plays the guitar and laptop all day. His mother notices that he does not speak to anyone. She does not know anything about his online chats.

My client states that he is receiving treatment from the local health authorities.

After my visit, my client said that things had improved.

Case Study 2

Their teenage daughter throws tantrums whenever she does not get her way. The parents say this is unreasonable and dominates the running of the household.

She can wake up late for school and then find an excuse not to go. The parents have high ambitions for her and send her to an expensive day boarding school.

The parents are always to blame. This, in turn, leads to arguments between the parents.

The mother said this bad behaviour only happened when they moved to this new house.

Previously, she had been an understanding and considerate daughter.

When I last spoke to the mother, she returned to her usual self. The tantrums are infrequent.

3. Illness

Recovery from a viral infection takes longer than the norm. The clients appear to have perpetual cough, cold, or flu-like symptoms.

Case Study 3

My client had lived in the house for more than 20 years. She found that she was more susceptible to coughs and colds. She is now retired and now spends more time at home. She appears to have the symptoms of cough and colds all the time. It is because they take a long to shake off.

Since the last visit, the coughs and colds do not last long.

Case Study 4

My client moved to her dream home. After about a year, she developed chronic pain in the lower back, which was diagnosed as endometriosis. After the operation, she had to move to another bedroom to get proper sleep. Her husband bought her the most expensive mattress, with the salesman's promise of a good night's sleep. She could not settle in the main bedroom.

After my visit, she returned to the main bedroom and felt much better. The back pain had gone.

She did not have any health issues previously in the old house. She has always felt unwell in the new property.

4. Work from Home – A vicious cycle

Case Study 5

My client has a "work from home" job. When he is at his desk, he can only concentrate for about 15 to 30 minutes and wants to nap. When he goes to bed for a nap, after a short time, he is restless and wants to go back to his desk. He is unsettled, so he takes a shower or takes a walk. It has become a vicious cycle, and he struggles to achieve results in his work.

He cannot have a good night's rest as his sleep is restless. As a result, he complains that he is stressed.

After I visited the property, I noticed that he now has an effective and productive setup in his home.

He feels much better, is productive at work, and gets a good night's sleep.

5. Teenagers

Case Study 6.

My client's son was a high-achieving student in his school. The parents moved to a new home, and he had his own bedroom.

Gradually, the standard of his work dropped. The teachers and the parents were concerned.

I was called in and made the re-arrangements. His performance improved back to his usual self.

Case Study 7

My client had to rush her son to A&E as he had lost his vision suddenly. The medics could not explain the cause but treated the symptoms.

I identified the cause, and the issue was the layout of this bedroom.

I moved the bed and made other changes.

From what I understand, these symptoms have not arisen.

6. Young Children

Children, especially babies, cannot communicate clearly. They do what they do best – cry.

Medical professionals have difficulty pinpointing the diagnosis as the descriptions of the symptoms can be vague.

I have sorted out the layout of the child's room as it was unsuitable.

Case Study 8

My client's child cries incessantly. She not only sleeps with the child at night but also gives the child full attention during the day. Although she works from home, it isn't easy for her to do her work correctly.

She is not only deprived of sleep, but the anxiety about the child's Health is at the forefront of her life.

After my visit, the baby cried less, and the baby's sleep was less interrupted. Things are going well.

How did I solve it?

The Methods I use:

Detection:

I have tried various methods like - pendulum, twigs, branches, muscle testing. I had the best results in the dowsing rods. Even more convenient are the retractable rods. I can easily carry these through airport security.

Dealing with the Geopathic Stress line:

I am reluctant to use lead sheets in the house. Lead is not an ideal metal for the house.

Many solutions have been published on the Internet. I have tried them, but are they practical for the client?

One obvious solution is to re-position the bed. This is fine when there is space available. However, in London, the bedrooms are small, and this is not always possible.

As all homes, their bedrooms, and their occupants are different, my solutions to the Geopathic Stress issue are different. They are specially tailored to the situation.

The brief answer is that IT DEPENDS.

How effective are my remedies?

I can only base this on the reactions of my clients.

They gave positive responses to my questions, which were: Are you sleeping better?

They might not be fully invigorated after sleep, but what is important is that they have had a good, undisturbed sleep throughout the night.

I have monitored my clients, and they seem to be happy with the results that we have achieved.
