Feng Shui of the Open Plan Living Room - Decorations

The Life Aspirations Formula divides the area of interest into eight different sectors. Each sector has different properties and can help in a particular aspiration.
This is to be used in the Auspicious Zone (Living and Dining Areas).
For example:
One of the aspirations of the person is to achieve better love and relationship luck; this formula recommends that they place a rose quartz crystal in the Southwest sector of the Auspicious Living Area of the Open Plan Living Room.
How do you use the Life Aspirations Formula?
- Determine the North Direction.
- Identify the auspicious Living zone of the Open Plan Living Room. It is the whole room except for the kitchen area, particularly the cooker (hob), ovens, dishwasher, washing machine).
- Segment the room into the eight sectors based on the diagram below.

The Aspirations
Love and Romance (South West Sector)
Using lights:
Use a red lamp – from these combinations – Red lampshade (fully or partially red) with a ceramic base. Adding red light bulb is also possible.
An uplighter is another suggestion. This focuses the energy upward, the preferred direction for Feng Shui.
Using Crystals
If we want to activate the Love and Romance Luck, the element is yang Earth. Yang Earth is related to crystals. In crystals, the crystal that is related to love and romance is the Rose quartz crystal. The symbol of love is the heart. We can place rose quartz crystals or a rose quartz heart in the South West corner of the Open Plan Living Room.
Family Harmony (East Sector)
You could have a healthy indoor plant
Mentor, Patriarch or Networking Luck (Northwest sector)
The element is Yang Metal. So, you want something that is made of metal, and it is big or impressive. More importantly, is the symbol. The Chinese have a symbol called the Kwan Kung – he is a warrior and protector.
You can have the various decorations at the various sectors or corners of the living room. You can have a picture of your father or mentor and have the mage framed in a heavy metal frame.
This is an example of Feng Shui Decorations. You are decorating the room with objects or symbols that have a particular aspiration. Like many things in Chinese philosophy, many things have another purpose.
