Feng Shui and Good Luck

Working-with-Investors

There is a difference in the interpretation of the expression Good Luck in the UK and South East Asia (Malaysia and Singapore).

In the UK and South East Asia, you get good luck when you get an unexpected win – for example – a lottery win, you win a prize draw.

In Asia, you can describe a person to have good luck when he gets a rapid promotion to the top job.  For instance, there was an unexpected departure from that position and he was selected as a successor for that position because of his work record. He had built up a track record of hard work, dedication and a record of success like spotting market opportunities for new products.

In the UK, this would be considered as good fortune as he was in the right place at the right time. But in Asia, it is Good Luck.

Therefore, the comment that states Feng Shui brings you Good Luck – look at who is saying it. Is that person from the UK or the West or from Asia.
