If you can practise proficiently, you have reached the pinnacle of the Divination practice. These systems are unique, and there are very few practitioners who do with the necessary accuracy and precision.

This form of Divination is known as Three Styles (San Shi) which incorporate the following:

Tai Yi Shen Shu – Macroscopic Events – to the Country or Continent.

QiMen DunJia –  Events to the Locality and Region (Environment) with timings.

Da Liu Ren – Events to the Person.

San Shi is totally unique. The Divination covers the three levels – nations or continents, the local environment and the person. Secondly, the accuracy of DLR divination of the person is second to none. Of course, it is the skill and experience of the practitioner that also matters.

There is much literature on these three topics. They have been written by scholars and researchers. From my understanding and experience of the situation, much of this work has not been validated in real-life cases. This, in my opinion, contributes to the background noise of the actual practice of this subject.

There is one big difference between the Chinese Divination and the other systems (Western and Indian Vedic Astrology). The Chinese use the Chinese Calendar based on a system of rotating characters. They are known as “Heavenly Stems” and “Earthly Branches”. The methods of Astrology and Horoscopes rely on the movement of the planets.

Tai Yi Shen Shu

This system is for the macroscale - country or the continent.

An example of this Divination was the prediction of the floods in the Mississippi River in 2011 and New Orleans (Hurricane Katrina) in 2005.

Technical: Like the other arts, it uses the rotating heavenly plate and fixed earthly plate, the eight trigrams and the 64 hexagrams. The observation of cloud formation is necessary at the time of Divination.

QiMen DunJia

Originally devised to help form military strategy and tactics. Qimen Dunjia was used in the Period of Chinese history known as the Warring States (481 to403 BC). It has been detailed by Chinese scholars to have been used at the Battle of Red Cliffs in the defeat of Cao Cao's ship-borne army.

It is said that the QiMen DunJia divination had stated the attack would need to take place at that particular date, hour and direction when the wind changed its direction. The enemy was taken by surprise with this attack as the leader assumed that the wind would not change direction.

Although QiMen DunJia divination was designed for the battlefield, we do not know whether it is used on the battlefield today, but it is used in business. It is used to gain a competitive advantage in securing business.

QiMen DunJia divination provides information on the best date, time and direction to start the process – interview, campaign, product launch, to find a lost item, the best direction to seek help etc.

Technical: It consists of the nine palaces, Heaven and Earth plate, a spirit plate, eight gates and a star plate.

A derivative of this Divination is the Flying Star Feng Shui

Da LiuRen

It is a divination system that provides a “story” from a question that you ask. Suppose you ask about a project you had in mind. Based on the date and time of the question, the Da LiuRen divination will be able to tell you the events from the start, the middle and the end of the project. Of course, the likely final result.

Isn’t this like a person destiny reading? Yes, Bazi is a derivative of Da LiuRen. Instead of taking the date and time of the question, the date and time of the birth of the person. More of it later.

Yes, I have already stated its main use. A competent practitioner gives unrivalled answers to the questions with extremely good accuracy and precision.

Technical: The divination procedure includes consideration to the relationship of the 5 elements, “yin and yang” between and among the Three Transmissions, Four Classes, 12 Generals and the Heaven and Earth Plates.

Da LiuRen is regarded as the highest of the Three Styles since mastery of its complex rule structure requires years of memorization. It is said that Da LiuRen has four times as many rules as QiMen DunJia. The historical literature on Da LiuRen surpasses QiMen DunJia by far.

Bazi or Four Pillars of Destiny

Based on your date and time of birth, the Bazi divination can provide you with a destiny reading.

It is a simplified derivative of Da LiuRen.
