The older women will take the headlines – they will come the celebrities. It will become more matriarchal.

People will spend more time in their studies. Therefore, there will be more facilities for studies in higher education like Universities or training facilities to satisfy the demand.

Writing will gain importance, and there will be celebrity authors with their best selling books or products.

Food – preparation and eating become more important as more people will be interested in it. This could be from the start (sowing or rearing) of food to the preparation. There will be more interest in the preparation or cooking. Of course, the main interest is in the consumption of the product.

Interest in farming has been sparked off with Jeremy Clarkson narrating his farming adventures in the Cotswold on TV. He has done more for farmers than the BBC programme “Countryfile” which has been running for 30 years. The interest in cooking can be seen in the number of cookery programmes. Then, the Masterchef competition in Australia has over 65 episodes per series. Many episodes can run up to 90 mins. Australian are waiting for the 14^th Series of Masterchef Australia. This programme grips Australia.

There could be another arms race with new equipment for the military.

Trends – Commerce

The entertainment and leisure sector will gain importance.

The Food Industry, from farmers to retailers to restaurants, will see an increase in their business. Of course, there will be celebrity chefs. Will there be celebrity farmers?

The business that will do well

People who write and prepare content. This could be books, programmes or content for the many media outlets on the internet etc.

Cooks who establish their credibility will get very well known and be duly rewarded for their efforts.

Trends - Property

The energy that comes from the South goes to the North, from Brighton, past London to Leicester then Leeds.

I expect Brighton to be a growth area, becoming even more active.

The area around Crawley, which has Gatwick Airport and Croydon to the South of London, will see growth.

To the North, the energy will probably pass St Albans, Leicester, Sheffield, Leeds and as far as Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
