Feng Shui of the Open Plan Living Room - Colour

Marketing-Strategy

The Open Plan Living Room is the largest room and therefore, covers the majority of the floor area. It is not possible to use the Life Aspirations Formula. This formula divides the whole floor area into eight sectors. Each sector has different properties. It is difficult to apply this formula to a room that covers a number of different sectors as it would be full of contradictions.

Therefore, the best way Feng Shui can recommend the colour of the room is to use the Eight Mansions Formula. This formula gives a person a Kua number based on your date of birth. An automated system with this link. Just put in your month and year of birth.

A person with each Kua number has an element which has an element which is related to a particular colour.

For example:

The Kua number of the head of household is 8. The element is Yin Earth. The elements colour is Yellow or Beige. The recommended colour for the walls is Yellow or Beige.

The Kua number of the head of household is 4, the element is Yang Wood. The colour of the yang Wood is dark green. It would be overpowering to paint the room dark green. Therefore, you could use dark green as the dominant colour in your wallpaper or decorations. Or, it could have a dark green theme.
