The London Eye – A tourist attraction forever? A feng shui analysis.
Dr. Michael Oon
The London Eye is London’s most popular attraction, with 3 million visitors a year.
It is Europe’s largest cantilevered observation wheel or also known as a Ferris wheel. The 1st Ferris wheel was used as a landmark in 1893 in Chicago at the World’s Exposition.
The London Eye was initially called the Millennium Wheel and built as part of the Millennium Celebrations for the year 2000. It is located on the South Bank of the River Thames on the Western End of the Jubilee Gardens.
This observation wheel was to be an attraction for five years but the constant demand from tourists leads it to be a permanent fixture in this location. Secondly, it was the first wheel that gave rise to other observation wheels in other countries – Nanching (2006 China), Singapore (2008) and Las Vegas (2015) and Dubai (2021).
Why has the London Eye become such a huge tourist attraction while others have struggled?
A Feng Shui Analysis:
The London Eye is located on the River Thames. The water flow carries the energy. This energy meets the structure of the London Eye.
In Traditional Feng Shui, when there is more energy and better the quality, the better the outcome for the people within the property receiving the energy.
