Melbourne – Australia's City of Culture
Dr. Michael Oon
Melbourne is Australia's second City. It is in the South East corner of the Australian continent on the shore line of Port Philip Bay.
It is known as Australia's Cultural Capital – a city of Arts with great Art and delicious food. Much of this has been documented in Wikipedia.
Melbourne has been designated a UNESCO city of Literature and a city, north of Melbourne – Bendigo has been designated a UNESCO city of Gastronomy.
Melbourne City is on the north side of Port Philip Bay. Melbourne is surrounded by the Dandenong Ranges as shown in the topographic map.
Feng Shui Analysis:
Melbourne is by the shore of Port Philip Bay and it is surrounded by a chain of hills further inland.
In Period 9, auspicious energy comes from the South. In this case, from the Bay. It is held within the Greater Melbourne area as there is the Dandenong Ranges surrounding the City.
The red line shows the hills surrounding Melbourne. These hills help hold the energy within Melbourne.
The qualities of this Energy is food, entertainment and culture. This is exactly what Melbourne.
The time between now and 2050, I expect to see Melbourne flourish as a City of Culture, Food and Entertainment.
