Does the British Airways Waterside Headquarters have a sting in its tail? A Feng Shui Analysis.

Real-Estate-Financing

This building was completed in 1998, and it is adjacent to its central hub – London’s Heathrow Airport.

Since moving to this moving to this headquarters, the quality of service has deteriorated significantly. British Airways was renown for its quality of service and had the slogan “The World’s Favourite Airline”.

Once the pride and flag carrier of the nation, it has come to an embarrassment. The service levels have dropped considerably. Food and drinks (even water) were chargeable, and cabin crew became indifferent in their attitude to the passengers. This is probably a reflection of how they were treated by their line managers.

The customer experience reached new lows, with many surveys reaching the same conclusion. Senior management had a reputation for making “nasty” or aggressive replies when adverse comments of their poor service were made. Many people I know, who used to fly British Airways regularly, made it a point to avoid this airline.

Feng Shui Analysis:

As you would notice, the building looks like a scorpion drinking water from the lake. A scorpion has a tail that has a nasty sting.

In Feng Shui, the “shape” of the building influences the culture of the occupants of the building.

This scorpion-like design has influenced the culture of the business.

Comment: The design and environment influence the people within the building.
