Feng Shui in the Kitchen – Colour

Why select a Feng Shui colour for your Kitchen?

There are two alternatives. You can select a personal colour – the personal colour of the head of the household or the “particular colour” of the room based on the compass direction using the Bagua.

  • Personal Colour
  • Colour of the Bagua

Colour is an important facet of the room. With a personal colour, the family members will feel more comfortable with the personalised colour. The other choice being the colour most suitable for the room based on Bagua, which is related to compass direction.

1. Personal Colour

This is based on the Kua number of the head of the household. Each Kua number is related to an element that has a unique colour.

Working out the Kua number:

Please refer to this link where there is an automated Kua number system.
