Feng Shui Bedroom Images

These are a sample of the types of images that can be hung in your bedroom.

It is biased towards what you want to achieve or to be. What it avoids are the negatives – accidents, shipwrecks aggression. There are also a couple of images to show some easily made mistakes.

Positive Images:

  • Wealth: Water symbolises wealth. So when water is coming from a number of directions coming to you in a water fall – this symbolises wealth coming constantly from different sources.
  • Travel – places that you would like to visit – This is the Blue Mosque in Istanbul, Turkey. A fantastic destination.
  • Bamboo – The Chinese love the image of bamboo. Bamboo is resilient, tough, lasting, expands constantly and never dies. Do you wish you were like that?
  • Relationships – An old fashioned image of a loving partnership of happy couple.
  • Sibling relationship – two brothers
  • Your journey – smooth sailing
  • Aspiration – your next car
  • Happy Family.
  • Balance – Feng Shui is about balance – living in harmony with nature.

Negative Images

  • Aggression – A roaring and aggressive lion
  • Shipwreck – end of a journey
  • Accident – end of journey
  • Abstract Art – Feng Shui prefers clear symbolism
  • Loss of Wealth – water flowing away. A number of feng shui authors have used this type of imagery to depict following water. I think they have overlooked something.
  • The End – Sailing into the sunset

Mountain as a Tortoise (Support)

  • This is a good image of a mountain. It is clear and gives the impression of support.
  • This is, in my opinion, an inappropriate image. Yes, it has Iceland’s most photographed mountain (Eyjafjallajökull) and a waterfall. It is a two in one image. The drawback of this image is that the water is flowing away. This symbolises loss of wealth.
  • Looking down at mountains. This is not support, it is losing support because you are looking down.

Being Alone

  1. If you want a relationship, do not have this image of being happy alone. Or the joy of being solitary.

Conclusion: This is a short and handy guide of the types of images appropriate for your Feng Shui Bedroom.
