04 Diary of a Feng Shui Consultant – house buying = House 2

This diary will follow Hanna who is looking for 2 properties – one as her main residence and the other for a buy-to-let investment. Hanna has sold her home and she is currently staying in a rented property.

The main purpose is to assist Hanna decide whether
a – Is the property suitable to be her main residence?
b – As investment property, will it be able to hold the asking rent, be able to get tenants easily without having any void periods (ie Landlord friendly).

I will be using feng shui techniques to get the insights of the property.

04 Diary of a Feng Shui Consultant - house buying - house 2
Middle property in the image:

One of 2 single level properties, adjoining a larger property but in a small secluded area with ample off-street parking facilities. On the left side of the property (dragon side) when you look out of the front door, there is a taller, 2 level building. This side (dragon) is the male side, indicating stronger masculine energy in the property.

Energy in the property is “masculine”.
a. If your energy is masculine, you will be comfortable here and your behaviour will be in keeping with masculine energy in this property.
b. If you live here but do not have the this masculine energy, you will feel uncomfortable here. But, the longer you live here, you will adapt to this energy and your behaviour will appear more masculine.

Main residence: Suitable accommodation. Regular shaped property a moderate amount of energy.
Investment property: It would be quite a desirable property for tenants.

Hanna: This property has been on the market for quite sometime and the asking price is way out of line with the current market conditions. He would not budge an inch on the price. Therefore, it could not be viable as an investment property.

Michael: By not yielding to changes can be considered a very masculine behaviour.

Assisting House Hunting Hanna- House buying

Hanna has sold her main residence and is staying in a rented property. She is looking for 2 properties; one for herself and another for investment (a buy to let) within the home counties (the area around London).

This diary will follow her visits to each property – looking and giving an opinion for each.

House Buying – House 1

house-1; house buying

A detached property on a slope but in close proximity to other properties. The front appears to have been renovated recently.

The energy in the property is not stable and at time, can change dramatically at unexpected times.

1. As a main residence: There would be a high probability of a serious issue requiring you to move out between 12 to 24 months.
2. As an investment property “buy to let”. Tenancies would be short lived and there would be associated marketing costs in getting new tenants.

Not recommended.

Hanna: The current owners splitting up their relationship and are selling the property.

Assisting House Hunting Hanna – Hanna’s previous residence.

Diary of a feng shui consultant 1

Hanna has sold her main residence and is staying in a rented property. She is looking for 2 properties; one for herself and another for investment (a buy to let) within the home counties (the area around London).

This diary will follow her visits to each property – looking and giving an opinion for each.

Hanna previous home:
Hanna lived in a “terraced property” at a bottom of a valley. Energy flows down the road in 2 different directions and there is a small road further down the valley which allows the energy to leak away. This forms an energy pool at the bottom of the valley. Her house is filled with energy as it tapped into this energy pool. The property has a regular shape but with a small missing area. Initially, I thought that it would be a good property but it faces a minor void direction. There is a mixture of two different types of energy present in the house.

Therefore, the people in this property would be “confused” and things would take longer than expected – slow progress in whatever they do.

Comment:

Hanna: “I got things done eventually but it took time and at a cost.”
