We have thousands of old photos and slides and would like to convert them to the digital format. In keeping with the times.

As we have thousands, it would take thousands of man-hours to do the task properly. Therefore, I would like to find out the ideas and experience of others in this task.

Did you hire someone to do it?
Is there an auto feed scanner for photos?

Any ideas or experiences would be most appreciated
